So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Choosing a cloud provider
There are multiple cloud providers with affordable and competitive rates these days. We are looking to leverage Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities where we just manage our data, applications, and basic configurations.
The following figure shows some popular cloud providers:
Popular providers include Amazon's AWS, Microsoft's Azure, and Google's Google Cloud Platform (GCP). For the purpose of this tutorial and for our book, we will be leveraging AWS.
