TOO OFTEN WHEN there are multiple interviewers, everyone has their own form, their own perspective as to which competencies are most critical, their own way of asking questions, and their own way of rating performance. Then, when the interviewers sit down to discuss each candidate, it becomes a lot like the process of comparing apples and oranges.
This chapter presents two forms that will help increase the chances that you are comparing apples to apples. The first form, the Individual Candidate Rating Form (Figure 8-1), combines the ratings of all of the interviewers for a single candidate.
