Respect the Exhibitor's Space and Time
Sales agents will be set up in stands on the Palais and apartments along the Croisette at Cannes, on the market floors and in suites at the AFM and NATPE, in the ballrooms and convention halls of all the various events. Showcasing the films and programming they’re selling, these are their offices at the various markets. They are paying steep rent for this precious, temporary real estate. Where you might have paid $1,000 to be here, they probably paid upwards of $10,000 — or three to five times more. Respect that, for them: selling comes before buying.
