To save a Word document as a Web page

Understanding Word HTML Formats

  1. In Word, on the File menu, click Save as Web Page.

  2. In the Save as type list, click the type you want:

    1. Web Page

    2. Web Page, Filtered

    3. Single File Web Page

  3. In the File name box, type the name you want, and then click the Change Title button.

  4. Type a title for the page, click OK, and then click Save. If a warning box appears, click Continue.

To start a new Web page in Word
