So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Foreword
In 2007, the MASIE Center invited Bob Mosher and Conrad Gottfredson to develop and facilitate an intensive three-day workshop on Performance Support. Our motivation was to extend the toolkit and competencies of learning professionals in large, global organizations, to more effectively support the performance of workers on the job. Not a new idea, but a glaring gap in the world of instructional design. Although this notion of Performance Support has been around for a long time, we saw a need to focus attention back on this discipline and update its practices to address the challenging needs of twenty-first-century learners.
