So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
23.2.1 New and Runnable States
A new thread begins its life cycle in the new state. It remains in this state until the program starts the thread, which places it in the runnable state. A thread in the runnable state is considered to be executing its task.
