Idea 65: Rehearse with the others involved
Presentations are often given by two or three people working as a team. That calls for teamwork and that calls for a practice session or rehearsal. In fact you may need more than one rehearsal before an important presentation.
Remember, however, that unless you are careful you can over-rehearse, which kills spontaneity. A good orchestra will rehearse several times but always leave something in reserve. There has to be some magic on the night of the actual performance.
The mutual constructive criticism that follows each run-through will lead to improvements. Above all, as a team you can approach the event with full confidence in each other and in the clarity of the message you wish to put across.
