Because data processing is such a vast subject, you will find different definitions and opinions across the internet about how it can be categorized. For learning purposes and to keep it as simple as possible, I'll talk about the three main types of processing we usually find in real life data-related projects. We'll have a quick look at what they are in the following sections.
