Bringing your own runtime to Lambda

The first topic we'll cover is intended to give you the flexibility to write Lambda functions in a language that you are the most comfortable with. Adopting Lambda doesn't mean you have to learn to code in an entirely new language, but there are some steps we need to take to enable a runtime that doesn't come out of the box.

Throughout this section, we will learn what is involved in using the relatively new custom runtime feature and run through an example.
