Java Message Service (JMS) is an API defined as part of Java EE that provides a common interface to messaging protocols and messaging systems. The interface abstracts away from the underlying communication protocol and needs an implementation in the form of a JMS client library to actually talk to a messaging broker or system. Apex provides operators to read from and write to JMS. The input operator has been tested with Amazon SQS and Apache ActiveMQ, but should also work with other systems such as Tibco EMS or IBM MQSeries.
