I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Management tools
Running streaming pipelines in production requires good management tools and infrastructure. Existing offerings focus predominantly on functional aspects (APIs and libraries) and performance. A large portion of infrastructure for a successful project has to cover build, source control, continuous integration, testing, deployment automation, upgrade, monitoring, and so on. Today, this involves expert skill sets, expensive custom architecture, and development. From a user perspective, this needs to become much simpler, and it presents an area with potential for vendor differentiation (especially in the cloud).
