Endomorphism

If the objects are in the same set, the morphism is known as an endomorphism. In other words, the morphism maps back onto itself. An example of this would be a domain A of natural numbers (positive integers), morphisms comprised of addition and multiplication operations, and a range of B, which will consist of natural numbers. Another example would be the set of numbers 1 to 12 on a 12-hour analog clock.
