Introduction

Sometimes, you’ll receive a reply on the same day, especially if you’re

reporting an error that I have made. Other times, you may have to wait for

several days. Remember the following tips:

• Attach photographs of any project that doesn’t work. I must be able to see

details such as the colors of stripes on resistors.

• Clearly identify which project you have been working on, and which book

you are referring to. Include the figure number of any schematic or

photograph that you mention.

• Describe the problem clearly, in the same style as if you were describing a

physical symptom to a doctor and asking for a diagnosis.
