I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

RECEIVING AUDIO TRANSMISSIONS
If you keep tuning upward in frequency, you get into the band allocated for
voice transmissions. SSB audio is related to AM but is more efficient in the
sense that it requires only half the bandwidth, the range of frequencies
occupied by a single transmission.
The SSB transmissions are very sensitive to the tuning of the receiver. If the
tuning is slightly off, the voice can be understood but the pitch is wrong. For
larger tuning errors, the voice becomes garbled and unintelligible. It takes
practice to get the tuning right, and on this receiver it can be quite difficult ...
