I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

If the green or yellow wire from the LCD exceeds 3.3V, the diode shunts that
excessive voltage to the positive bus. It may seem confusing that the negative
end of each diode is connected to the positive bus, but remember, we only
want the diode to conduct current if the green or yellow wire carries more
than 3.3V. Under that condition, the 3.3V positive bus will be “more negative.”
We use Schottky diodes for this purpose because they have a lower
threshold voltage than diodes such as the 1N4148, which are used in logic
circuits.
