137Experiment 8: FM Receiver
Next, you need to install a library for the Si4703
chip in the Arduino IDE. The procedure is similar
to what you did in Experiment 4 with the LCD
library, and you only need to do this once:
• Open the Arduino IDE on a computer with
internet access.
• Open the Library Manager (Tools > Manage
Libraries).
• Search PU2CLR SI470X and install the SI470X
library by Ricardo Lima Caratti. (Incidentally,
PU2CLR is an amateur-radio call sign,
identifying a Brazilian amateur-radio station.)
Connect the Pico to your computer with a USB
cable and upload the sketch in Figures
8-6a
and
8-6b
