I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

As with the RTL-SDR above, I advise only buying from stores mentioned at
the official website, to avoid clones of unknown quality.
You should also consider getting a 30dB attenuator (which should only cost
you a few dollars) if you want to connect any transmitter directly to the
analyzer. The spectrum analyzer cannot handle high input powers, and it
may be overloaded or show spurious peaks if the signal is too strong. The
attenuator is connected between the transmitter and the spectrum analyzer
to reduce the signal to a safe level. Note that dB is an abbreviation for
decibels, a measurement of how much the signal is attenuated. ...
