I recommend getting at least two so you can have a transmitter and
a receiver at the same time. A half-size breadboard (with about 400
contact points) is sufficient for some of the circuits—for example, those in
Experiments 7 and 9. Note that on some breadboards, the power buses are
interrupted at the center of the board. If so, the red and blue lines along
the power buses are also interrupted at this point. If you have one of these
breadboards, you need to bridge the gaps in the power buses with jumper
wire.
