It’s a fact of administrator life that software updates will become available on a regular basis for Exchange, Windows, and other products. Although you don’t have to apply the regular updates and service packs that Microsoft releases for Exchange, it’s a good idea to do so to ensure that you run the latest software that contains all the fixes to known problems, including security fixes for vulnerabilities that are discovered and fixed on an ongoing basis.
