It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

15. How are Internet standards developed?
Internet standards are initially developed by IETF, reviewed by IESG, and ultimately
approved by the IAB. Throughout the standards development process, Request for Com-
ments (RFCs) are prepared by the RFC editor. RFCs, which address various aspects of a
particular protocol under consideration, generally contain technical information about a
