Synopsis

The V$MTS view returns some general information about multi-threaded server. Table 7.4 describes the columns in this view.

Column Name

Description

MAXIMUM_CONNECTIONS

The port-specific limit on the number of connections that a dispatcher can support.

SERVERS_STARTED

The cumulative number of shared server processes that the instance has started. This does not include the initial number of shared servers started when the instance starts. It only includes those started subsequently, as the instance adjusts the number of shared servers to meet demand.

SERVERS_TERMINATED

The cumulative number of shared server processes that have been stopped while the instance has been running.

SERVERS_HIGHWATER

The highest number of shared server processes that have ever been running at one time since the instance was last started.
