I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Preface
This work was initiated at the HAAMAHA (Human Aspects of Advanced
Manufacturing Agility and Hybrid Automation) conference in Krakow, Poland, in
2000, where I met Professor Hannu Vanharanta from the Tampere University of
Technology, Pori unit, Finland. At that time, I was working for ABB in Finland.
During the conference, we talked about our research and the work that we had con-
ducted earlier. The idea of cooperating with each other to combine our previous
works was born while we were eating delicious steaks. The idea was to apply my
fuzzy logic–related doctoral research (Kantola 1998) to Professor Vanharanta’s
research in the area ...
