The reality is far too complex. Comprehensive modeling also ensures that the mem-
bers of an organization “talk the same language” when current situations, develop-
ment targets, and actions are being selected. When decisions direct development
efforts and resources to the right targets, clear benets are achieved. In fact, if
true, this approach should be the only way to manage an organization. Section 1.4
describes the structure of this book.
