In this chapter we focused on certain statistical methods used as tools for
data mining. Statistical tools are very useful for finding relationships among
attributes of a database through the quantitative analysis of the data. House
sales data was used for analysis. The meaning of the statistical analysis results
themselves are not that significant to us since our purpose was to illus-
trate the methods and implementation tools used to build a bridge between
database and statistics.
