Making linetypes using code

To understand how linetype code works, we will look at the code created for the Waterline linetype, which we created in an earlier example. Open the Sample line.lin file from the desktop using Notepad or any other plain text editor. To open it, select the Sample line.lin file, then right-click and select Open with, then Notepad, from the series of options. The file will open, and you will see code that looks like this:
