I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
RF monitoring
The IoT brings new monitoring challenges. For example, organizations should monitor not only the networks for indicators of compromise but the airwaves to identify potentially rogue devices entering their locations, and to capture potentially malicious activity that is not caught by traditional network monitoring tools. There are vendor products such as those from Pwnie Express and Bastille that provide these capabilities.
Bastille offers a technology based on Software-Defined Radio (SDR) functionality that bills itself as security for the Internet of Radios. The product supports detection of IoT devices operating anywhere between 60 MHz and 6 GHz.
