In almost every program, multiple influences drive the business measures. With multiple influences, measuring the effect of each influence is imperative, at least to the extent that it is attributed to the program. Without this isolation, program success will be in question. The results will be inappropriate and overstated if the suggestion is made that all the change in the business impact measure is attributed to the HR program.
