では、一般に配列と呼ばれる順序付きのコレクションを、シーケンスと呼びます。シー
ケンスにはリスト型、タプル型、文字列型、バイト型などのデータ型があり、それぞれ機能は異な
りますが、どれも添字やスライスを使って同じように要素の操作を行えます。

添字によるアクセス
シーケンスオブジェクトに格納された要素は、
seq[index]
の形式で、要素の位置をインデック
ス値として指定して参照します。インデックス値は、先頭の要素が
0
、次が
1
、その次が
2
と、要
素の先頭からの位置を整数で指定します。

インデックス値として負の値を指定すると、シーケンスの末尾からの指定となります。シーケン
