Carol A. Dawson
Carol A. Dawson, MS, CPCU, CPLP, CIC, CISR, AIS, is a learning and performance consultant for Nationwide Insurance in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene College (now University) in Olathe, Kansas, with a major in Communications/Public Relations and Psychology. Her first job out of college was in the personal lines service center at Allied Insurance. Since then she has held positions as an agent and an underwriter, but found her passion in learning and performance. She enjoys volunteering, currently serving as vice president of communication for the Central Iowa ASTD chapter and is actively involved in Toastmasters, having served as president from 2006-2008.
