I have always been fascinated with color. Over the years I've learned that correct color choices can have a tremendous impact on the success of the presentation. At the beginning of this chapter, I pointed out that presentations delivered in black and white are less effective than those in color. We live in a world of color and that, in itself, is an anchor to our understanding of information.
Although geometric shapes are more universal, often you'll find that you need to use actual objects to describe something or make a point. The use of imagery in a visual can be very helpful.
