Beyond the message, the media, and the mechanics, the event itself adds another dimension to the planning process. The environment plays a significant role in how the presentation is received by the audience.

For example, when you go to a movie, the lobby, the concession stand, the seats, the size of the screen, and the general conditions of the place will affect how much you enjoy the movie.
