When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
About the Author
David Pogue (author, illustrator) wrote the weekly tech column for The New York Times for 13 years. In late 2013, he joined Yahoo to launch a new consumer tech site for non-techies: yahootech.com.
He’s also a columnist for Scientific American, Emmy-winning correspondent for CBS News Sunday Morning, host of four NOVA miniseries on PBS, and the creator of the Missing Manual series. He’s written over 60 books, including 28 in this series, six in the For Dummies line (including Macs, Magic, Opera, and Classical Music), and two novels. David is a former Broadway show conductor, a magician, and a funny public speaker. He lives in Connecticut with his wife, Nicki, and three awesome children.
