How to do it...

Carry out the following steps to install OM 2016:

As SCOM 2016 requires many prerequisites to be installed beforehand, I would recommend to automate complete installation by using PowerShell. See the simple script available at https://rlevchenko.com/2018/01/16/automate-scom-2016-installation-with-powershell/.
  1. Browse to the SCOM installation folder and click on Setup.
  2. Select Download the latest updated to the setup program and click on Install. Once the wizard has checked available updates, the next page will be shown.
