I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
Carry out the following steps:
- Connect to the VMM 2016 console by using the VMM admin account previously created (rllab\vmm-admin), and then on the bottom-left pane, click on Fabric to open the fabric workspace.
- In the left-hand pane called Fabric, expand Servers, right-click on All Hosts, and then click on Create Host Group.
- Type the name for the host group, for example, Moscow.
The following steps will help you create a child host group:
- In the Fabric pane, expand the parent host group for which you want to create the child, right-click on it, and then click on Create Host Group.
- Type the name for the host group, for example, Hyper-V.
- Repeat steps 1 and 2 to create your host group structure.
