So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Configuring Synthetic Fiber Channel
Since VMM 2012 R2, Synthetic Fiber Channel has been added to support Guest Fiber Channel in Hyper-V.
The VMM feature, which makes use of the SMI-S provider, allows you to assign a Virtual Fiber Channel Adapter in the guest VM with cut-down zone management.
Virtual Fiber Channel supports single/multiple storage arrays connected to single/multiple fabrics.
Multiple storage arrays connected to multiple fabrics would provide dual-redundant paths to storage arrays.
