I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
Carry out the following steps to configure the SSAS in VMM:
- Open the VMM console. On the bottom-left pane, click to open the Settings workspace, and then in the Settings pane to the left, click on System Center Settings.
- Select and then right-click on Operations Manager Server.
- In the Operations Manager Settings dialog box (shown in the following screenshot), click on the SQL Server Analysis Services tab on the left pane.
- Select Enable SSAS:
- Type the SSAS server, SSAS instance, and Port values.
Ensure that SQL Server Browser Service UDP 1434 and TCP 2382 ports are unblocked. If you use a default SQL Server instance, also ...
