Make sure that the fabric configuration meets the following prerequisites:
- For VMM-managed shared storage:
- It is essential that the storage be added, configured, and classified in the Fabric workspace.
- The logical units need to be created and allocated to the target host group or parent host group and should not be provisioned to any host.
- For unmanaged shared storage:
- Disks must be made available to all the nodes in the new cluster.
- Provision one or more of the logical units to the hosts.
- Mount the cluster disk on one of the hosts and format it.
