Many times audio is recorded on location at a lower level than is ideal. This can
be fi xed in the edit suite by boosting the audio. The means to adjust audio in the
Timeline is limited to a maximum of +12 dB. When you need more volume you
need to access the Gain effect, found in the Video and Audio Effects area.
Drag the Gain lter onto audio
in the Timeline.
1 Highlight the clip you wish to adjust in the Timeline. If you are working with
separate video and audio, then highlight the audio.
