When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Marking a Range in the Timeline
Just as you can mark a range in the clips in the Browser, you can also mark a
range in the Timeline. This lets you defi ne the duration of the content which can
be edited into the Timeline, and this applies to the different types of edits such as
Connected, Insert, and Overwrite.
A range can be marked in the Timeline in two ways:
1 Use the letters “i” for in and “o” for out to mark the beginning and end.
2 Alternatively, press the letter R and drag within the Primary Storyline to set
the range. A range can also be marked within any of the single Connected
Clips.
