Curves
For those familiar with
Photoshop and other image
editing software, manipulating
luminance and color using
Curves is an established and
effective way of working.
Curves in Final Cut Pro X can
be broken into distinct areas:
(i) Luminance—which
covers highlights (whites),
midtones and shadows
(blacks).
(ii) Below luminance ar
e three
separate color channels.
While these are set to
red, green, and blue, in
practice you will defi ne the
colors you wish to adjust.
