I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Import Preferences
Several of the Import Preferences are crucial to defi ning how you work with Final
Cut Pro X. The fi rst option is very important: Copy to Library Storage Location or
Leave Files in Place.
Copy to Library Storage Location is the default option.
By choosing Copy fi les to Library Storage Location, means that every media fi le
used in the project will be copied into an area known as the Library. A Library is
stored on hard drive, wherever you defi ne, and you have a choice of whether to
include all of your media internal, within the Library, or external, which means
elsewhere on hard drive, in a location of your ...
