When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Projects. You can have more than one Project stored within a Library and as
many Events as you wish.
I would suggest, for ease of knowing where
things are, that when working on a specifi c
movie, which could be a documentary,
a TV program, a wedding, a feature, an
advertisement—whatever it is, create a new
Library. You then organize the media within
the Library, inside of Events, and then do
further fi ne-detailed organizing of the footage with other tools provided within
Final Cut Pro X.
Creating a Library
You need at least one Library open to work within Final Cut Pro X.
1 Choose File—New—Library.
2 Name the Library ...
