Titles, for example. Perhaps you have several different subtitle streams, you could
use Roles to defi ne from the set of subtitles what is included while monitoring, or
for fi nal output.
I think of Roles as being like a giant patching bay where the operator will choose
to route whatever elements they wish to include or remove from output.
Assigning Roles
Nothing could be simpler than assigning Roles to media. Ideally, this should be
done early on, during organization, before
you begin editing.
