“THE USER IS ALWAYS RIGHT”? Isn’t that a little overstated, Mr. Author?

Well, yes and no. Certainly, you don’t want every business decision about your Web site made directly by your users. This isn’t a democracy, it’s a business. But let’s face it, the people your Web site serves are critical to your success. If you don’t understand them and provide what they need the way they need it, they’ll find someone who does.

So maybe the book should be called “The User Is Important to Understand and Satisfy.”
