Chapter 29. Rulers, Guides & Grid

There are many tools you can use to help you position objects precisely. In Chaper 9 you learned how to use smart guides and the Align and Distribute buttons. In this chapter you’ll learn how to use rulers, guides, and the grid to align objects, change the Constrain Angle to align objects at custom angles, and use the Measure tool to calculate distances between objects.

When displayed, the rulers are located at the top and left edges of the document window.
