So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
CHAPTER FOURTEEN What to do if I want to become better at online meetings?
Remote work is here to stay and many companies now have more online meetings than in-person ones. It’s up to us to train ourselves and our teams to become better at this format. And although this chapter primarily focuses on online meetings, many of the insights apply equally to in-person meetings.
When you have an online meeting with one or two team colleagues it’s relatively easy to speak up and say what you want to say. But the bigger the group, the harder it is to make yourself known, especially when you are one of those people who like to sit quietly in a meeting and to ponder a bit more about subjects, rather than the ‘shout it out loud’ type.
