I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
CHAPTER TWENTY What to do if someone doesn’t respond?
One of the things I find challenging is when someone doesn’t respond after I’ve asked a question. Whether it’s during a meeting, a conversation or even in written communication like emails, I’ve noticed that waiting for a reply can sometimes feel like a long time. In face-to-face interactions, this can be especially tricky because you’re left in a moment of silence, wondering if the other person needs more time to think or if they simply didn’t hear or understand you. People process information at different speeds and what seems like a long pause to one person might just be the other person gathering their thoughts.
