for both his inspiration

and dedication to the

art of creating garments

and designing beautiful

things. Like a blank

canvas, Mattijs let the

toile inspire him into

creating pieces with

clarity of shape and

form, while being drawn

towards more elaborate

statement pieces. The

are an expression of

Mattijs’ love affair

with fashion. This is
