Social listening is akin to having a giant ear to the ground. It involves monitoring blogs, news sites, and other platforms to understand what people are saying about your cause and organization. Community engagement, however, is the lifeblood of your marketing and social presence. Are you authentically reaching your community and inspiring them to action? Are you empathetic and do you understand and address their needs? Are you responding to disinformation and misconceptions?
