I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Azure Monitor
Azure Monitor is a monitoring solution in the Azure Portal, which provides infrastructure metrics and logs for mostly all services in Microsoft Azure. Not all Azure resources have been added to Azure Monitor by the time of writing this book, but in the future, more will be added.
Azure Monitor offers the following capabilities:
- Activity Log: The activity log provides information about all types of events that are occurring inside an Azure Subscription. This can be activities such as stopping or starting VMs and maintenance activities.
